José Aldo dreams of a rematch against Conor McGregor: 'Perfect ending!'

Two years after losing the featherweight belt to the Irishman, the Brazilian would like his final UFC fight to be a rematch against the 'Notorious'

The former featherweight champion, José Aldo lost his title in 13 seconds to Conor McGregor in December 2015 at UFC 194 in Las Vegas. Two years after the confrontation and on the eve of the end of his relationship with Ultimate and retirement, the 'People's Champion' revealed to the program “Revista Combate” that he dreams of ending his career with a rematch against the Irishman and emerging victorious.

Aldo's desire to be the lightweight champion again and McGregor can regain the lightweight belt against Khabib Nurmagomedov. If that happens, a rematch could happen in a superfight between the former rivals.

“Happy ending, perfect! God hear you, that would be the happy ending! We beat Conor and returned to end with a draw (…). That's what I say to Dedé: 'This is going to happen', but Dede is very realistic: 'No, that's only in your world'. And I say it could happen, I throw it in the air so it can happen”, said Aldo.

Aldo still has three fights left in his contract with Ultimate, his desire is to win the belt and still finish his career that began in 2004 in Brazil.
