TJ Dillashaw believes second win over Garbrandt makes him 'best bantamweight ever'

Even with a loss to former division champion Dominick Cruz, TJ believes he has already proven he is the best bantamweight

The bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and the former debt holder, cody garbrandt make their second clash in the main fight of UFC 227 on August 04th in Los Angeles. In the first meeting, 'The Viper' got the better of his opponent with a knockout at 2:41 of R2. “That puts me at the top [of the list as the biggest rooster of all time]. I know I'm the best cock ever. I have a split decision loss to Dominick Cruz and that changed everything, a fight I thought I won. That changed everything, but I'm the best bantamweight in the world”, assured Dillashaw.

In his MMA career, TJ has three defeats in 18 fights. The most recent setback was former bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz via split decision in January 2016. Dillashaw stated that despite his setback, he still feels as though he has proven himself to be the best bantamweight.

“My performances speak for themselves. We have to see if Dominick Cruz you can even fight. The guy can't even get in there anymore, so we'll see if that happens, but right now I just have to worry about taking down Cody in three weeks,” TJ said.

Dillashaw admitted that his second confrontation with cody garbrandt it may be different from the first, where he came out with a knockout. Even so, he recognizes that he will emerge with a victory.

“I don’t care if [the fight] is going to be different. I'm just going to go out there and make Cody irrelevant in the weight class. I'm going to go out and finish him off. He has no chin, he has no technique and I think I'm going to prove to everyone in the weight class that he doesn't belong in the top 10,” he concluded.
