A year out of the octagon, Conor McGregor is already focusing on its clash with Khabib Nurmagomedov, not yet confirmed. In his training camp, the Irishman is already adjusting his game to the lightweight champion's weaknesses. In an interview with the website “MMAjunkie”, 'Notorius' coach, Owen Roddy stated that the Russian is 'not bulletproof'.

“We all sit down and look at where the holes are and what we can do to exploit the opponent. Khabib has a lot of problems, just like all fighters. He's not bulletproof. It’s not an impossible code to decipher”, explained Conor’s coach.

According to Rody, Nurmagomedov manages to transform his opponents into 'training dummies'. The strategy against the Russian is to improve Notorius' ground game. “Obviously, we would be bringing in a wrestling coach, and (McGregor coach) John (Kavanagh) would be working on the overall game and the jiu-jitsu game,” he explained.

McGregor's trainer also stated that if the fight remains standing, the technique is to look for an opening and find Nurmgomedov's chin.
