The fight was at 3m19s of R1, Walter Neto was trying to apply a leg lock to João Elias when the referee stopped the fight so that “Alicate” was evaluated by doctors due to a cut on his face. With the referee gone, João apparently provoked his opponent and launched a left cross. In response, Walter landed a few punches on Elias. The referee tried to separate the fighters, other people entered the cage and caused confusion among the athletes.

Return of Zuluzinho
After almost eight years, Wagner “Zuluzinho” Martins returned to the cage to face Edvaldo “Gameth” in his hometown, São Luís, in Maranhão. The return of the ex-Pride fighter generated a lot of expectations that ended in the first round when Zuluzinho could no longer return to the fight. The veteran required medical help with his legs being very swollen.
At 160kg, Zuluzinho faced Gameth (98kg) in an open weight fight. Edvaldo started the fight by attacking his opponent in his direct position, with kicks to the legs. Wagner had trouble moving and wore compression stockings on his legs.
Gameth managed to knock Zuluzinho down and land on top, throwing some punches. At halftime, Wagner was no longer able to fight
