With 'home silver' in the spotlight, UFC debuts in Liverpool this Sunday

The ‘Land of the Beatles’ hosts UFC Liverpool this Sunday (27) at the Echo Arena. In the main fight, the city-born Englishman, Darren till face Stephen Thompson, in a duel that could give the winner the chance to fight for the welterweight belt (up to 77,1kg.)

UFC Liverpool has 11 duels, with six in the main program and five in the preliminary. On the English card, Brazil has just one representative, the welterweight fighter Claudius Hannibal. The Brazilian is part of the main card against Frenchman Nordine Taleb.
