The preliminary card of UFC Chile, the first Ultimate event in South America outside Brazil, had a large Brazilian participation. There were seven fights and in four of them there were Brazilian fighters, who ended with a balance of three wins and just one defeat. Poliana Botelho it took just 33 seconds to dispatch Japanese Syuri Kondo; Alexandre pantoja applied a harsh punishment to Brandon Moreno and Michel Trator beat Zak Cummings by split decision. The only Brazilian with a defeat in the opening program was Felipe Silva.
Poliana Botelho submits Japanese and wants her place in the rankings
In her second fight in the UFC, the Brazilian Poliana Botelho made her expectations worth it. Quickly, the Brazilian delivered a kick to Syuri Kondo's left rib, which she felt and went to the ground. With her opponent falling, the Brazilian applied some blows until referee Camila Albuquerque ended the fight at 33 seconds (see the video below).
This is Poliana's second fight in the UFC, her first fight was against Pearl Gonzalez. In both confrontations, the Brazilian emerged victorious. With the positive results, she was already questioning whether she had moved up in the women's strawweight rankings.

Pantoja entered the Octagon ranked 12th in the UFC flyweight rankings. But in a great performance against Brandon Moreno, 7th in the standings, could elevate the Brazilian to the top-10 in the division.
In the first round, Brandon Moreno He became the passenger of agony with frank striking and strong blows from Pantoja. The Mexican even ran away from Alexandre after the first accurate blow to the face. In the final seconds of the first half, Moreno, bleeding, was an easy target for the Brazilian's blows. Brandon was saved by the horn!
In the second round, Moreno waited for Pantoja to propose the fight and had little attack. The Brazilian was in charge of the round and threw hard-hitting kicks and punches. The Mexican remained in the clash and went into the last half quite injured.
The third and final round was marked by the fighters' fatigue. The fight was more balanced during the final five minutes, where the exchange was frank and brutal.
Michel Trator won and Felipe Silva was knocked out
In the fight that ended the preliminary card, Michel Trator defeated Zak Cummings in the welterweight division by split decision. The fight was balanced and even a little 'warm'. Michel Trator had difficulties at the time. The Brazilian is officially a lightweight (up to 70,3kg), but due to not being able to lose weight he was penalized and moved up a category.
Only Brazilian setback
Starting the preliminary card, Brazilian Felipe Silva faced Chilean Claudio Puelles placeholder image. Silva dominated the second and third rounds, even with several hard blows he was unable to achieve a knockout. At 2m23sec the Chilean managed a heel hook and finished the fight.
