Nate Diaz doesn't want to fight Georges St. Pierre

Nate Diaz is ready to return to the Octagon, but said he is not negotiating the fight against Georges St. Pierre with the UFC

UFC president Dana White last week confirmed a fight between former middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Nate diaz at UFC 227 on August 4 in Los Angeles. The president also confirmed that Ultimate is working to make the fight happen at lightweight.

In an interview with the website MMAJunkie, Diaz stated that he has no interest in fighting St-Pierre. “No, I’m not fighting that fight,” he said.

“Like I said [on Facebook], he cheated when he fought my brother [in 2013], so I just had to talk about it because they're trying to ignore it like it's nothing. I have other things to do, and it was weird because we never really talked about [this fight],” explained Diaz about a possible fight with GSP.

Nate diaz He is already training to return to the octagon, but there is still no confirmed date for his return. He hasn't fought since August 2016 when he lost by decision to Conor McGregor.

Georges St-Pierre is interested in fighting again, and even asked for a specific UFC opponent. GSP's possible opponent was not disclosed.
