With the dream of being UFC lightweight champion, Kevin Lee sought combat with the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov. This fight has not yet been of interest to Ultimate. Lee is currently on the list of possible opponents for Nate diaz. After two years, Diaz wants to return to the octagon.

In an interview with SiriusXM's “MMA Tonight”, Lee stated that he is focusing on Nate and wants to face one of the most famous fighters in the sport. “I think Nate’s fight is there to happen. He already ran away from me once,” Lee said.
Nate diaz who hasn't fought since his defeat to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in August 2016, he is in negotiations to return to the octagon at UFC 227, on August 4 in Los Angeles. Dana White, president of the UFC, stated that Nate will not return for future events.
Regarding Diaz's return, Lee responds: “Coming back? I don't know. I think Khabib's fight was the right one to do, but Nate's is there. I know Dustin and Alvarez, they're in line like they should be, but we'll see how it goes. I will direct my focus to Nate.”
Kevin Lee He is ranked 6th in the UFC lightweight category. He has a record of 20 fights, with 17 wins and three losses. In his last fight, Lee beat Brazilian Edson Barbosa by technical knockout on April 21st.
