Ultimate announced, on Wednesday night (25), that the 28th edition of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), the UFC's reality show, will be made up of female featherweight fighters (up to 65,7 kg). In addition to women, male heavyweights will also be present on the program.

The screening for TUF 28 will take place on May 22nd and fighters interested in participating in the reality show must be between 21 and 34 years old, weighing up to 120 kg. for men and 65,7 kg for women. In addition, they must have at least three fights as a professional with a positive history – at least two wins.
The women's featherweight, where Cyborg is champion, and the men's heavyweight are the shallowest categories in the UFC currently. The expectation is that TUF will increase the casting of athletes in the divisions.
The Ultimate Fighter champion is guaranteed a six-figure UFC contract with at least five fights.
