UFC Atlantic City, held this Saturday (21), was a bad event for Brazilians, but for those who torment the country's athletes, there is nothing to complain about. Afghan Siyar Bahadurzada and North American David Branch, who defeated Luan Chagas and Thiago Marreta, respectively, left the show with the ‘Performance of the Night’ awards. Each received US$50, around R$170 at the current exchange rate.

Bahadurzada achieved victory after escaping a rear-naked choke in the first round and turning the fight around with a beautiful kick to the Brazilian's waistline to achieve the knockout. Now, Branch defeated Marreta in his rival's specialty. With a cross connected squarely on the chin, the North American scored a knockout in the first round.
The ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus went to the controversial dispute between Ricky simon e Merab Dvalishvili. In the duel, Simon landed a guillotine in the final minute, but Dvalishvili resisted until the end of the fight and only stopped after the bell sounded. Even so, the central referee considered it a ‘technical knockout’ and awarded Rick the victory.
