EliteXC President, Gary Shaw, confirmed in a recent interview with MMA Junkie that the Russian beast, Fedor Emelianenko, is in negotiations with his organization, but the asking price of US$2 million per fight could perhaps prevent the transaction from being reached.
Last month EliteXC had offered Emelianenko among other things 4 fights, participation in the ppv and US$ 300 thousand to US$ 500 thousand per fight but that was not good enough.
