McGregor attack forces cancellation of three UFC 223 fights

The confusion caused by Conor McGregor at UFC 223 Media Day created a new headache for the organization. After the attack by the Irishman and his troupe on the bus taking the athletes to interviews, no less than three fights on the card had to be cancelled.

Michael chiesa, who suffered a cut to his head from the vehicle's broken window, was removed from the fight Anthony Pettis; Ray Borg was also removed from the show for damaging his eye with glass shards and will not face Brandon Moreno. Artem Lobov, who was in trouble with McGregor, was banned from the duel against Alex Caceres by the UFC itself.
