Khabib and McGregor's partner almost fight backstage at UFC 223

Hot atmosphere behind the scenes at UFC 223, an event that takes place next Saturday, in New York (USA). The Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov, which stars in the main fight of the night against Max Holloway for the lightweight belt, he truly defeated his compatriot Artem Lobov, friend and training partner of Conor McGregor. The fighters argued face to face, in Russian, and had to be restrained by members of their teams (watch the video below).

The images, which were taken by coach Rick Little, from the Sikjitsu team, did not record aggression from either side. On the other hand, the atmosphere was heavy among the Russians scheduled for the show. The reason for the conflict is not yet known, but it is speculated that it is due to Lobov's proximity to McGregor, a declared dislike of Nurmagomedov.

While Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to fight for the lightweight belt in the main fight of UFC 223, Artem Lobov, faces Alex Cáceres, in the preliminary card of the show.
