Ultimate announced, this Tuesday (27), its return to German soil. The largest MMA organization in the world arrives in the city of Hamburg, on July 22nd, for an event in the 'Fight Night' series.
This will be the second edition of a UFC event in Hamburg. In September 2016, the program featured Josh Barnett's victory over Andrei Arlovski by submission in the third round.
“Our German fans have proven time and time again that MMA is a sport they love,” said UFC International Vice President David Shaw. “After such a successful event in 2016, we are looking forward to revisiting a city that welcomed us, and our athletes, in 2016 and we aim to deliver an even bigger and better event for fans on July 22nd.”
Although the promotion has not yet announced any fights for the card, the expectation is that Germans Jarjis Danho, Jessin Ayari and Peter sobotta are sure to be present on the card.
