The Cameroonian Francis Ngannou was close to the greatest glory of a fighter, but after losing to Stipe Miocic at UFC 220, in January this year, the Cameroonian giant wasted his chance to win the UFC heavyweight belt. But recovered from the setback, he is already thinking about his next engagement in the octagon.

Even after announcing a break in his career after not winning the belt, the Predator became the target of one of the main contenders for the belt in the division: the American Derrick Lewis. Current number five in the heavyweight rankings, the 'Black Beast' showed interest in facing Ngannou, who readily accepted the challenge.

“Derrick talked s*** while I was gone. Could someone please inform him that I am here now. So, if he really wants me, he has to send his manager to negotiate with the UFC”, said the Cameroonian on his Twitter account.

Ngannou has a professional record of 11 wins and just two losses as a professional. In his rapid rise in the UFC, he debuted in December 2015 and recorded six wins and just one defeat – precisely the title fight.
