Chris Cyborg seems to be really willing to defeat Amanda nunes, even if she doesn't enter the Octagon. While the superfight between the champions has no scheduled date, the Paraná native found another way to join the 'Leoa' route. The owner of the featherweight belt offered help to train the Amazonian Ketlen Scallop, Amanda's possible bantamweight challenger.

“I’m ready for camp. Just call”, wrote the woman from Paraná on the social network.

The rivalry between Amanda and Cyborg began when the bantamweight champion offered to move up in weight and publicly challenged Cris. The Paraná native revealed that she would not like to face a compatriot, but accepted the dispute. The super champion fight was even speculated for UFC 224, in Rio. But the featherweight champion, who had had two fights in two months, asked to compete again only in July. With that, the show called Rachel Pennington to challenge Nunes in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. However, with a fight scheduled, Amanda went back and revealed that she would like to do new fights in her category before moving up in weight. The situation irritated Cris, who even said that her rival only challenged her with the intention of promoting herself.
