UFC champion reveals he will help Mayweather train MMA

Tyron Woodley, owner of the welterweight belt, guarantees that the multi-time boxing champion can make noise in the UFC

It seems that Floyd Mayweather really wants to venture into MMA. Boxing's biggest winner of all time has even chosen a UFC champion to start his training. The North American Tyron woodley, owner of the welterweight belt, revealed that he will help the boxer in the transition between sports.

Woodley revealed to “Hollywood Beatdown” that he met Mayweather during a basketball event in the United States, and they have already scheduled training. The welterweight champion, who is based on the game of wrestling, couldn't hide his excitement at seeing 'Money' in the Octagon.

“I saw him (Mayweahter) at NBA All-Star week. We started talking about training MMA and decided to keep in touch. Let's meet in Vegas and do some training to get you ready for MMA. Floyd is one of the best strikers of all time. There are a lot of guys in the UFC who can't grapple and consider themselves to be fighting on the feet and will have to stay on the feet against one of the biggest strikers of history. They will enter a world of smoke,” she said.

Floyd Mayweather built the most successful career in boxing history. The 40-year-old fighter was a 12-time world boxing champion in five different categories. Floyd ended his career with an incredible 50 wins in 50 fights. In his last appearance, he defeated Conor McGregor in the Boxing x MMA superfight, in August last year. Now, the Irishman hopes to have a rematch with 'Money' in his sport.
