Brave Combat Federation returns to Brazil on April 13th, with one of the biggest cards in the organization's history. At its debut in Belo Horizonte, Brave 11 will bring, as its main attraction, a duel of generations, between Brazilians lucas mineiro and Luan “Miau” Santiago. The winner of the fight will become interim Brave lightweight champion.

Former UFC fighter, lucas mineiro, 29, debuted for the promotion the first time Brave was in Brazil. In March 2017, Chute Boxe athlete Diego Lima submitted Fabián Galván in the second round of the main fight of Brave 3. Mineiro was scheduled to fight for Elias Boudegzdame's featherweight title at Brave 9, but had problems with the weight cut and resolved move up to the lightweight category.

“I want to thank Brave for the opportunity to fight for a title at home, in my state. Being able to fight in Brazil is great. You can be sure that it will be a great fight, that it will be a great spectacle. I thank everyone for their support”, commented the lightweight in an interview with the Combate News program.

In the new division, the athlete will face one of the most promising names in world MMA. Chosen as one of the sport's promises in 2018 by the English magazine “Fighters Only”, Luan “Miau” Santiago, just 23 years old, was elected Fighter of the Year at the Oswaldo Paquetá Awards in 2016, and had two fights at Brave last year , beating Ivan Castillo and Igor Soares, both by knockout in the first round.

“For me it is an honor to be able to compete for the interim belt in an event as big as Brave, a show that is growing every day. Being able to participate in Brave is great. I want to tell everyone that I'm going there to do my job and I'm going to put on a show for everyone. Much gratitude for being able to compete for an international belt at home”, said “Miau” to Combate News.

The event will take place at Ginásio do Mineirinho, and will mark the third time that Brave lands in Brazil, with the first show outside of Paraná. Both Brave 3 and Brave 8 were played in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.
