The Brazilian Anderson Silva He reigns supreme in the UFC's middleweight division and is considered by many to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time. But even with sovereignty inside the octagon, the champion may be saying goodbye to competition.

At 36 years old and with 35 fights as a professional, the “Spider” is tired and close to hanging up his gloves. At least that's what Ed Soares, Anderson's manager, says. In an interview with the radio program “Rewind”, on the North American website Sherdog, Ed stated that the Brazilian must fulfill the contract he has in force, however, he believes that the contract will not be renewed.

“We have to live one day at a time. It's really hard to say, but as of now, we only have four fights left on the contract. If the offer to continue is good, of course it would be of interest, but it is not Anderson's main objective”, stated Ed. “I have already spoken to him (Anderson) and he has not expressed interest in renewing”, he added.
