“We had the idea of ​​doing something different, not just a flag on the face. The other time it was makeup and it looked great for going to a party, but not for war. We researched and found an indigenous war painting. But it was red, and I wanted it in Brazilian colors”, explained Cris, in an interview with the Combate channel after the weigh-in.

Among the other Brazilians on the UFC 222 card, Ketlen Scallop was the one who provided the most tense look at the weigh-in.
