Brazilian Marlon Sandro joined a list of MMA fighters: those who have problems with the law. After breaking into his ex-fiancée's apartment during Carnival and threatening his partner with a knife, the former Bellator athlete was accused of attempted murder. If he is convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

Problems with the law are not uncommon among MMA fighters. The cases range from the British Lee Murray, who after losing a title fight against Anderson Silva in Cage Rage, he led a bank robbery in a robbery worth R$97 million until War Machine, who tried to kill porn actress Christy Mack, with whom he had a relationship.
