Jessica Stacker is close to a new chance for the Ultimate belt. After defeating Tecia torres No. UFC Orlando, held last Saturday (24), she should be the next challenger for the reign in the strawweight division (up to 52,1 kg). However, despite the fight for the title being practically certain, the Brazilian does not rule out stepping into the octagon for a special reason: fighting at home. The event arrives in Rio de Janeiro, on May 12th and the Paraná native does not hide her desire to perform in front of her fans.

“To date in my entire career, I've only had two fights in Brazil for the UFC and I'm already missing it. But it's part of it. Let's see what will happen. With the victory, I will definitely ask to fight in Rio”, said Jéssica, in an interview with Estadão.

Despite her desire to fight in her homeland, the woman from Paraná knows that this is not a simple desire “All I wanted was to fight in Rio, but not how it will happen, whether the organization will want it. If everything goes well I'll fight for the belt, I just don't know if it will be now or if I'll have another fight first. They are very unpredictable”

When asked about the short preparation time for the fight, Jéssica replied that this would not be a problem for her, as she would be used to the training routine and that in fact, she would just wait for her opponent to decide.
