O UFC Orlando It was full of emotions for the Brasiliense Rani Yaya. After losing his mother on the 14th, the Brazilian wiped away his tears, climbed into the Octagon this Saturday (24th), submitted Russell Doane and dedicated the triumph to 'Dona Abadia'.

“Mom, wherever you are, I love you. You were the best mother in the world. Thank you so much for everything. It's a difficult time for me... My mother passed away ten days ago, I was in camp at ATT, I returned to Brazil to bury her. I wanted to dedicate this moment to her, who was the biggest fan I had. She would be here for sure. I wanted to thank everyone at ATT, my fans and the UFC, which is the best company there is”, said Rani, very emotional.

The fight

Yahya landed a fair katagatame and forced Doane to give three taps.
