Through a post on Twitter, Means charged the judges US$50, approximately R$162,3, referring to the victory bonus he would receive from the organization.
“I rewatched my fight. Tony Weeks (side judge), you and another judge (Phillipe Lorio) owe me US$50”, wrote the fighter on the microblog.
The fight
The fight between Serginho Moraes e Tim means closed the UFC Belém preliminary card and it was very balanced from the first to the last second. The Brazilian started the fight better, but the North American grew from the second round onwards, landed more blows and came close to victory when he managed to knock Moraes down with a punch at the end of the fight. But the side judges scored the victory for Serginho in a split manner. (29-28, 28-29 and 29-28).
