The premiere of Priscila Pedrita in Ultimate it didn't go the way the Brazilian expected. The flyweight division was completely dominated by Valentina Shevchenko and ended up finishing with a rear naked choke in the second most important fight at UFC Belém. In addition to the setback, the fighter had to deal with criticism of her coach, Gilliard Paraná, for allowing her to receive more than 230 blows without throwing in the towel. Pedrita, however, made a point of defending his master and called his relationship with the coach 'father and daughter'.
“About the treatment and intimacy I have with my master, who is on the outside knows nothing to criticize. Here it's not master and student, it's father and daughter, and no one will tell him how he should treat me. About throwing in the towel, this is PRVT (name of the team led by Paraná), and we are the ones who know my limits. Never throw in the towel,” said Priscila, in a post on Instagram.

Pedrita also revealed that he suffered a knee injury in the first movements of the fight against Valentina and will have to undergo surgery to repair the meniscus. Despite the injury and the huge punishment suffered, Priscila does not regret facing the main star of the flyweight division. She even revealed that she would agree to face Shevchenko 'ten more times'.
“I would fight Valentina ten more times without thinking twice. Whoever chooses an easy battle is not a warrior.”, he concluded.
