Ultimate returns to Brazil for its first event of 2018, debuting in the North of the country. UFC Belém takes place this Saturday (3) and will feature, in the main fight of the show, a middleweight duel between the former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and the undefeated North American Erik Anders, who has 10 wins in 10 fights, including two in the UFC – against two Brazilians (Rafael Sapo and Markus Maluko).

In addition to Machida, 11 other Brazilians are taking action to defend the country, which started 2018 with nine defeats and just one victory in 10 fights in the UFC. Featured for Peter Munhoz, which catches the dangerous John Dodson in bantamweight. Also on the main card, the Kyrgyz Valentina Shevchenko, former bantamweight title challenger, makes his flyweight debut against the Brazilian Priscila Pedrita, who will have his first fight on the show.
Not to mention names like Michel Trator, Thiago Marreta, Marcelo Golm and Serginho Moraes, who will defend Brazil's colors against Desmond Green, Anthony Smith, Tim Johnson and Tim meansrespectively.
