Legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather put his fans on alert again last Tuesday night (30), by posting a video on his social networks. In the images, the North American appears entering an octagon and raising his hands, as if he had won an MMA fight. The provocation seems aimed at Conor McGregor, UFC champion and his boxing rival, who fired back.

Shortly after posting the video, the Irishman used irony to describe the images and said that Mayweather was his “son”. In a post on Twitter, McGregor “praised” the American’s movement.
“(Laughter) Very good. Keep up the good work, my son. Sincerely, your father,” McGregor posted, in direct response to his rival’s video.
Recently, Mayweather hinted that he was in negotiations with the UFC to debut in MMA and Dana White, president of the company, admitted that he had made an offer to the boxer. Days later, however, the North American assured that he had no interest in fighting MMA, despite admitting that he could earn US$1 billion with some Ultimate fights.
