Zezão Trator represents Brazil at UTD 3

Brazilian Zezão Trator, who was considered one of the biggest revelations in national MMA last year, returns to competition in October, this time to defend the European middleweight title he won in 2010.

The Brazilian athlete embarked this week for Belgium, where he will fight against the Italian Paolo Milano in Ultimate Take Down 3 (UTD), at the Sports Hall La Prealle, Herstal, Liége metropolitan region.

According to Zezão's coach, Daniel Rustico, Paolo will be dominated where he makes the first mistake. “Our athlete has very great potential, which can be confirmed by his record and his position as the best middleweight 77kg in the Brazilian MMA ranking”, says Ferreira.

“The Tractor’s distinct characteristic is aggressiveness inside the ring. He is an athlete who goes after his opponent. Furthermore, his training has been well-directed and intense for at least two months to reach maximum power on fight day”, adds the coach.

Born in Belém do Pará, José 'Zezão Trator' Gomes is 28 years old and has been fighting professionally for seven years. “I'm developing a lot on the technical side and my jiu-jitsu, which is my weapon. As always, expectations are the best”, says the athlete. His last fight was on June 2nd, when he submitted Elias Tigre with a choke.
