Since August 2016 outside the octagon, Nate diaz seems to have tired of waiting for the trilogy with Conor McGregor. The lightweight declared, in his own way, with lots of insults, that he is ready to return to the UFC and set May or June as possible dates for his return to MMA activities. Soon after the announcement, the North American was challenged by other names in the category, such as Kevin Lee and Eddie Alvarez.

Using his social media, Diaz admitted that he was tired of not fighting and wanted to return in May or June and took the opportunity to complain about the current state of the lightweight division, which was not “excited”, according to him.

“I'm tired of sitting around waiting for you s—s to do some s— There's no excitement in these fights. Raise the bar and I'll see you in May or June. Honestly, the true champion,” Diaz teased.

Also using social networks, Kevin Lee and Eddie Alvarez immediately challenged McGregor's only UFC tormentor. Former champion Alvarez says he would like to face Diaz in a duel between the west and east coasts of the United States and declared that May or June was “perfect” for him, who last fought in December.

Lee, who competed for the interim belt and lost to Tony Ferguson in October last year, he declared that Diaz should end a fight soon or “shut up” and go back to “cycling around the park”, alluding to his rival's passion for triathlon.
