After hitting Urijah faber, in February, the North American Dominick Cruz puts the UFC bantamweight belt at stake once again this Saturday, against his compatriot Demetrious Johnson. The duel will be the main attraction of UFC on Versus 6, an event to be held in Washington, United States.

With a record of 18 wins and just one loss, Cruz received the UFC bantamweight belt, after the organization's merger with the WEC. In his last appearance, the “Dominator”, who is on a good streak of nine consecutive victories, overcame Urijah faber, responsible for his only defeat in 2007, in the unanimous decision of the judges, in the main fight of UFC 132.
In turn, the “short” Demetrious Johnson, just 1,61m tall, won the chance to fight for the Ultimate belt after scoring four victories in a row, two of which were in the UFC. With a record of nine wins and just one setback, Johnson triumphed over the legend Miguel Torres at UFC 130, an event held in May this year.
The UFC on Versus 6 fight program features just one Brazilian in action: acting on the preliminary card, Rafaello Tractor, who recently made his return to the UFC, will face veteran Yves Edwards.
