Challenger for the heavyweight title at UFC 220 next Saturday (20), Francis Ngannou is so confident of victory over the current champion Stipe Miocic who is already making plans for when he wins the belt. The Cameroonian assured that he will beat his rival quickly and declared that the Croatian-American should be afraid of what will happen in the duel between the two.

“If I were Stipe, I would be afraid of what will happen next Saturday. It's a big challenge for him, something he's never faced. I don't want the fight to last five rounds, but I'm prepared to fight for 25 minutes. I trained for this. But I don't want it to last that long, it's not in my plans. I want to end the fight quickly, go home and have a party”, said the challenger, in statements reproduced by the North American website MMA Junkie after the open training session last Wednesday (17).

Ngannou also declared that he will not choose opponents in his possible reign as heavyweight champion, but pointed out that Miocic would not deserve an immediate chance to avenge a possible defeat.

“How many candidates for the title are in this category at the moment? I don't think he would deserve a rematch so soon after losing to me. But I fight anyone, I'm not in a position to choose opponents. But I don’t think he will be my first challenge as champion,” he pointed out.
