“Conor is still the UFC champion. They can say what they want, but I even have his belt at home. He is making the decision about his next move. It's still early, at the beginning. We're looking at how everything developed after he left the scene because he had other things going on with him. We'll see what happens in 2018, I'm excited for that. I think 2018 is going to be another great year for us. Exactly how I still don't know. The plan is still forming. My opinion is that he should return to MMA. Boxing was a nice detour, but MMA is my passion and, if it's up to me, we'll see Conor McGregor in the octagon in 2018”, declared Kavanagh, who spoke about the lightweight champion’s training.

“I'm happy to see him training often. He's had to deal with a lot in his life, a lot of things have happened outside of fighting and he's now managing to balance it all. He trains almost every day now,” he revealed.
