It is not today that the heavyweight Mark Hunt has disagreements with UFC officials. And it seems that the New Zealander has reached his limit and announced that he no longer intends to renew his contract with Ultimate. He still has three fights left in his current commitment to the organization and will then listen to offers from other companies.

In an interview with the North American program “Submission Radio”, Hunt opened up about what he considers unfair treatment given to him by Ultimate and said that he is treated like “shit…” by his employers.

“My UFC career is coming to an end. I have two more fights to do after this next one and that's it. You know the disagreements I had with the UFC, but it's a business. I didn't do anything wrong. I just don't like being treated like sh... Even though I'm an employee, I want to be able to speak my mind, so I'm going to go out and do that. So, like I said, I have three more fights to do and then I’ll leave”, he revealed.

The problems between Ultimate and Hunt began in 2016, when the New Zealander sued the company because it allegedly knew that his UFC 200 opponent, Brock Lesnar, he would fight doped. The former champion was caught in an anti-doping test and also sued by “Super Samoan”. This year, Ultimate removed Hunt from a fight against Marcin tybura after the New Zealander revealed he had symptoms of dementia pugilistica. He was examined in Las Vegas and cleared to fight – he is scheduled to face Curtis blaydes at UFC 221 in February.
