Vitor Vianna starts competing in the Bellator GP this Saturday

With the great growth of MMA in the world, it will be common for major events to take place on the same day. This Saturday, MMA fans will have to divide their attention between UFC Fight Night 25 and Bellator 50, a show that will kick off the middleweight tournament with eight athletes facing each other for their chance to challenge the Cuban Hector Lombard, category champion in the organization.

The only Brazilian in the tournament will be Vitor vianna, who is responsible for jiu-jitsu training at the Wand Fight Team, in Las Vegas. The Tupiniquim athlete begins his tournament competition against a very tough Sam alvey. The winner of this dispute faces the winner of Victor O'Donnell and Brian Rogers in one of the semifinals.

On the other side of the bracket, the finalist of the last tournament, Alexander Shmelenko, is excited for having quickly knocked out the Brazilian Marcos Antônio “Bad Face” and will face the Croatian Zelg Galesic. In another GP fight, former TUF competitor Jared Hess faces Brian Baker, it is worth noting that both were already defeated by Alexander Shmeleno.

On the preliminary card of the show, another beast of the Brazilian gentle art: Marcos “Parrumpinha”, who is looking for his ninth victory in MMA against Shah Babonis.
