“Of all Cyborg’s possible opponents at the moment, I think Holly holm has the best chances. The reason I say this is that if Cyborg goes all in, like Ronda did with Holly, I think Holm can use angles, “cut” the octagon and counterattack. She has an incredible counterattack and, with her high kick, can put any girl to sleep. From a styles point of view, this fight is very, very interesting”, pointed out the former champion.

After two defeats to the then champion Ronda Rousey, Tate received another chance at the UFC belt in 2016, when she faced Holm at UFC 196. She was losing to the then-title holder, when she secured a rear-naked choke in the fifth round and became the new champion. After losing to Amanda nunes In his first title defense, Tate retired after a loss to Rachel Pennington at UFC 205, in November last year. Since then, he has dedicated himself to commentating on fighting and started an agency to manage athletes.
