After being quickly submitted by Mara Romero Borel in her UFC debut last October, Kalindra Faria from São Paulo already has a defined date, place and opponent to seek her recovery in the organization. She faces the North American Jessica Eye at UFC St. Louis, in the United States, on January 14, in a duel valid for the flyweight category. The information was confirmed by Ultimate itself.

In professional MMA, Kalindra, 31 years old, has 18 wins, six losses and one draw. Before the setback in Ultimate, she had won three in a row, including a victory over patriot Carina Damm, by decision, in a fight that won her the Titan FC women's bantamweight belt, in September last year. Recently, she participated in the soap opera “A Força do Querer”, as one of the opponents of Jeiza, character of actress Paolla Oliveira.
Eye, on the other hand, has a poor record in the UFC. In seven fights, he has only one triumph, one unsuccessful fight and five setbacks, four of which are consecutive. His most recent performance was in September last year, when he lost to the Brazilian Bethe Correia by points.
In addition to flyweight, two more Brazilians are already confirmed on the UFC St. Louis card. The average weight Vitor belfort, who is fighting the last fight of his UFC contract against the Jamaican Uriah Hall e Thiago Pitbull, who faces Zak Cummings in the welterweight category.
