Fabricio Werdum e Colby covington had a 'hot' discussion this Thursday (16) in Sydney, Australia, where the former heavyweight champion will face Marcin tybura next Saturday (18). When provoked by the North American, the Brazilian didn't think twice and attacked his rival, even throwing an object, needing to be restrained by people nearby.

Appearing scared by the situation, Covington just tried to get rid of the confusion. After the riot, the welterweight recorded a video narrating what happened, once again offending Werdum and the Brazilian people.

“F*** Brazil! F*** you, Fabricio Werdum, your C***! You are a bunch of dirty animals. And you still ask why I say that. It’s because you’re a bunch of animals anyway,” Colby said.

In an interview with the Combate channel website, Werdum explained that the 'fight' began due to a provocation from Covington, who allegedly attacked him with a kick to the leg.

“When I was impulsive, I threw something at him, but it didn't even catch him, he hit him on the shoulder. She had no punch, no contact. He was the one who kicked me. I blocked his shot. He was the one who attacked me. I just hit his phone to knock it down. The crowd got in the middle and there was nothing. I threw a boomerang that I got from a fan, as an ornament, very lightly, and then he kept swearing, but running. (…) I've never seen the guy in my life, and he looks at me and says I'm a dirty animal, he curses Brazil. Then he repeated it in his own video. I slapped his hand to drop the cell phone, he kicked me in the shin, which I defended, and then he ran away from me. I stood there arguing with him. I hadn't even recognized who it was. I went to get a haircut with Rafael (Cordeiro), he arrived cursing me, I didn't understand anything. The guy is problematic, he invented that I punched him in the face, something that didn't happen, never existed, didn't even take time. If I punch him in the face, I'll send him to the hospital. This is all in his head. (…) I don’t know what this guy is, I don’t know if he’s racist, he has some obsession with us, with Brazil. He talked, grumbled, looked at me dirty. I found it very strange, I had never seen him before. He has something with Brazil. I don't even know why he's here, I think he wants to appear in some way, he wants to attract attention, that's it. This generation wanting to imitate Conor McGregor it's ridiculous. He's ridiculous. Conor played his character, he did it very well. He cursed his opponents but did not disrespect the country. This Colby wants to get attention, but he just talks nonsense. He travelled. He didn't even know who he was. I only saw who it was later. I heard him speak and I couldn’t believe it”, declared the Brazilian.
