Fight between Cigano and Velasquez will open partnership between UFC and Fox channels
The Brazilian Junior Gypsy has a new date to try to win the UFC heavyweight belt. Initially, the fight against the champion Cain Velazquez was scheduled for UFC 139, on November 19th, but this Friday, the organization moved the fight forward to November 12th, in the fight program that will mark the debut of the partnership between the Fox channels and the UFC
UFC president, Dana White, called a telephone press conference to announce the change of date for the duel and begin the partnership with Fox channels.
“Heavyweight is the most coveted title in the sport, you know the fight will always be good,” said Dana White. “Both fighters have a lot of strength. Junior (Cigano) dos Santos has good takedown defense, and I think Cain's (Velasquez) strategy will be to take down the Brazilian, something that no one has managed yet... If he puts the fight on the ground, it will be interesting because we haven't seen the ground yet. Junior. He is a black belt with the Nogueira brothers, but has never been put on the ground. This fight will be incredible,” said an excited Dana Wihte.
It is worth noting that, initially, broadcast on Fox channels will only be for the United States. In Brazil, the event will be broadcast on the Combate channel.

Good, we fans of the sport are the ones who win, I believe this fight won't go beyond the 1st round, due to several factors the punch of both fighters in my opinion is the strongest in the category! Both are fast and agile; We're going to have a fighting show, cheering for Cigano to bring the belt to Brazil because there's plenty of potential.
