The Brazilian Rodrigo Minotauro returned to the octagon in style. Away from competition 18 months ago due to a series of knee and hip injuries, the black belt knocked out American Brendan Schaub. Now, after the euphoria of the triumph has passed, the Brazilian athlete is already thinking about new opponents.
In an interview with North American reporter Ariel Helwani, from AOL, Minotauro is already thinking about the future and is already looking forward to new challenges. As the UFC has plans to hold an event in Japan in February 2011, Rodrigo is already thinking about the possibility of being on the fight program.
“It was in Japan that I started my career! It would be great to have a fight there with Tokyo Done with 50 thousand people”, said Minotauro, who does not hide who he would like to face.
“I would like to face Frank mir. I lost that fight (at UFC 92), he's a tough guy and I would like that fight. Perhaps Brock Lesnar who is a big guy too”, he said “These would be the next steps in my career”, he added
