Close to defending his middleweight title for the second time, Michael Bisping will have the opportunity to face one of the greatest fighters of all time in one of the most iconic arenas in combat sports. However, the Englishman guarantees that he would measure forces with Georges St Pierre at UFC 217 this Saturday (4) anywhere in the world, and doesn't mind fighting at Madison Suqare Garden, a place that has hosted fights by boxing giants such as Mohammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano, as well as having hosted last year's historic UFC 205.

In an interview reproduced by the North American website MMA Junkie after the Open Training for the event, Bisping assured that he will put GSP to 'sleep' regardless of where the two fight.

“I love New York, but I don't give a shit about fighting in Madison Square Garden. I fight in my bathroom at home, in Australia, in Brazil, anywhere. Me and Georges St Pierre We're going to enter the octagon, we're going to fight and GSP is going to lose this shit...He just does the same thing. He throws jabs and looks for the takedown. Fuck you... He's going to sleep. You can boo me, you can applaud me, what the fuck…”, he said to the Englishman.

The duel between Bisping and St. Pierre promises to close the biggest event of the year for the UFC. The Englishman will have the opportunity to extend his winning record – he currently has 20 UFC victories, a number that no other fighter has yet achieved. Furthermore, if he beats GSP, Bisping could become the only athlete to beat the Canadian and Anderson Silva, both recognized as two of the greatest fighters of all time.
