After making peace with the victory by finishing the previously undefeated Niko Price No. UFC Sao Paulo, event held last Saturday (28), Vincent Luque is already making plans for the future. According to the welterweight, a confrontation against fellow prospect Darren till, who knocked out Donald Cerrone a week ago, it would have been enough for him to test himself among the best in the 77kg division.

“I want to face the best strikers in the division. I believe that Darren till He's a very good guy, he has great striking. I want to face him, that would be incredible. Also, Cerrone, (Jorge) Masvidal – those guys are big names. But Till? I think it would be an exciting fight (…) He's a great striker, he's a big guy, he knows how to move really well. I want to test myself against a guy like that. Now I'm ready to face a top guy”, declared Vicente in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

In the UFC since 2015, the Brazilian has five wins (three submissions and two knockouts) and two defeats at home. Before submitting Price, he was coming off a decision loss to Leon edwards No. UFC London, in March this year. At 25 years old, Luque has a record with 12 positive results, six negative results and one draw.

Darren till, a year younger, still doesn't know what it's like to lose in your career. Born in Liverpool and based in Balneário Camboriú, he has 16 wins and one draw as a professional. In the UFC there are five fights, with one draw and four wins.
