It's not very difficult to see Dana White, president of the UFC, in conflict with some fighters from his organization. However, when the subject is Ronda Rousey, the manager is full of praise. After defending the former women's bantamweight champion on several occasions, Dana once again highlighted Rowdy's importance for the growth of women's MMA, considering her largely responsible for the success the sport has achieved among women.

“She is underrated. Look at what she did. Look at what she built. She started this (women's MMA) whole thing. You had such a dominant fighter. She was so mean, she spoke well and she was beautiful. This whole combination of what she was built this whole female Mixed Martial Arts phenomenon. She was the right person at the right time”, declared Dana in an interview with the 'Pardon My Sports' podcast.

Ronda Rousey She was one of the pioneers of women's MMA, having been instrumental in women's entry into the UFC. Before her, Dana White, president of the organization, had commented that Ultimate would never allow fights between women in the octagon. With the arrival of the Olympic bronze medalist to the sport, the manager changed his mind and decided to include the bantamweight division. Ronda won her first 12 fights, submitting or knocking out all of her opponents. At the end of 2015, she lost her UFC belt to Holly holm and, a year later, she was knocked out in just 48 seconds by Amanda nunes. Since then, the blonde has not commented on her career in the fighting world.
