Rani Yahya faces Aljamain Sterling at UFC Fresno in December

Brazil gained its fourth representative on the UFC Fresno card, which will take place on December 9th, in the United States. This is the bantamweight fighter from Brasilia Rani Yaya, who faces the North American aljamain sterling, in a duel valid for the rooster category (up to 61kg). In Ultimate since 2011, Rani has already had 12 fights at home, totaling eight positive results, three negative results and one fight without result. His most recent performance was in August of this year, when he submitted Henry Briones and achieved his fifth triumph in the last six clashes. At 33 years old, he has a record of 24 wins, nine losses and one no contest.

Sterling, 28, has won six and lost two in the organization. He has already faced five Brazilians in Ultimate, having defeated Hugo Wolverine, Johnny Eduardo, Augusto Tanquinho and Renan Barao, in his last fight. Before, in January this year, he was surpassed by Raphael Assunção. In total, The Funk Master, as he is known, has 14 triumphs and two setbacks as a professional.

The UFC Fresno card, which will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Cub swanson e Brian ortega, there are, to date, three more Brazilians confirmed. The middleweight Antônio Braga Neto, away from MMA for over four years, returns against Trevin giles, Davi ramos has a lightweight duel against Chris Gruetzemacher and the bantamweight Iuri Marajó faces Alejandro Perez.
