UFC signs million-dollar contract with Fox channels

The UFC continues to grow and gain market share around the world. After consolidating the event as the largest MMA organization on the planet, the brand's commercial agreements are also becoming more important every day. This Thursday, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced a million-dollar contract with Fox, one of the biggest television channels on the planet.

According to the agreement, estimated at around $90 million and valid for seven years, Fox's broadcast network (including the FX and Fuel channels) will begin broadcasting some of the franchise's programs, as well as live events.

“I discovered the UFC 10 years ago, and I was impressed by how the sport has grown. They turned something small into a giant sport”, says David Hill, one of the owners of FOX. “And this is going to get even bigger, it’s just the beginning”, adds the businessman.
