UFC 216, an event that takes place this Saturday (07), in Las Vegas (USA), underwent last-minute changes. The North American Derrick Lewis suffered a back injury and was removed from the card, thus leaving the duel against Fabricio Werdum. The organization chose to promote Walt Harris, who would face Mark Godbeer, to measure forces with the Brazilian, who was kept on the show. The information is from the Combate channel website.
Tony Ferguson e Kevin Lee will take part in the main fight of UFC 216, in a duel that will define the interim lightweight champion. The show will also feature another title fight between the flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger Ray Borg. In addition to Werdum, three Brazilians are also confirmed: Thales leites measure forces with Brad Tavares and the rookies Poliana Botelho and Kalindra Faria debut against Pearl Gonzalez and Mara Romero Borellarespectively.
