One day after his signing for Ultimate became official, featherweight Sheymon Moraes already has an opponent for his debut: the Brazilian will face the promising Russian Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC China, an event that will take place in Shanghai, on November 25th. The organization itself announced the duel on its social networks.

At 26 years old, Sheymon has ten professional fights in his career, with nine wins and one loss. He even challenged for the WSOF belt, when he was fighting in the bantamweight category, but ended up defeated by his compatriot Marlon moraes – another who recently signed with the UFC. Despite not fighting since June last year, the new UFC signing comes from two victories at featherweight, against Robbie Peralta and Luis Palomino.
Magomedsharipov, in turn, impressed in his UFC debut. The Russian dominated Mike Santiago in September this year, submitting his opponent in the second round of UFC Rotterdam after showing creative striking and a good takedown game. Also 26 years old, the Russian featherweight has 14 fights in his career, with 13 wins and just one loss.
UFC China will feature, as its main fight, the return of the former middleweight champion Anderson Silva. The Brazilian will measure forces with the North American Kelvin Gastelum. Other duels confirmed for Shanghai: Chase sherman x Shamil Abdurakhimov (heavyweight), Kaillin Curran x yan xiaonan (feminine straw) and Gina Mazany x Wu Yanan (female rooster).
