Cub Swanson faces Brian Ortega in UFC Fresno main event

UFC Fresno, an event scheduled for December 9th in the United States, already has its main fight defined. It will be a duel between Cub swanson e Brian ortega, valid for the featherweight category (up to 66kg). The news was given first-hand by journalist Farah Hannoun and later confirmed by Cub himself, who posted it on his social networks.

Since 2011 in Ultimate, Swanson, 33 years old, has competed in 13 fights in the company, totaling ten positive results and three negative ones, having even received six performance bonuses for the night. His most recent performance was in April this year, when he achieved his fourth consecutive victory by defeating Artem Lobov by unanimous decision.

Ortega, 26 years old, is undefeated in his career, with 12 victories and one fight without result. He debuted in the UFC by submitting Mike de La Torre in 2014, but the result was changed to a no contest after T-City was caught doping. Afterwards, he scored four important victories, three of them against Brazilians: he knocked out Thiago tavares, finished Diego Brandao, knocked out Clay guida and finished Renato Moicano in their most recent duel, in July.
