Ultimate acted quickly and found a replacement for Carlos Boi, caught in an anti-doping test and, consequently, removed from duel against Christian Colombo at UFC São Paulo, October 28th. This is heavyweight Marcelo Golm, who will make his debut in the organization against the Dane. The information was given first-hand by the website 'MMA Nytt' and confirmed by MMA Brasil.

Colombo, in turn, has already had two fights in Ultimate, but has not yet managed to win. On his debut, in September 2016, he drew with Jarjis Danho, and then, last November, he was submitted by Luis Henrique KLB. Interestingly, his last fight took place in São Paulo. At 37 years old, he has eight wins, two defeats and one draw on his record.
O UFC Sao Paulo, the organization's last event in Brazil in 2017, will see the return of Lyoto Machida, suspended for the last 18 months. The former light heavyweight champion faces Derek Brunson in the main fight of the show, in a middleweight duel. Among the Brazilians, also in action will be names like Demian Maia, Antonio Shoe Guy, Thiago Marreta, Francisco Massaranduba and John Lineker.
