One of the big winners of UFC 215 last Saturday (9), Rafael Dos Anjos was rewarded with a rise in the welterweight rankings. Another significant change occurred in women's bantamweight and the shake-up in the division's rankings is also due to a Brazilian. Ketlen Scallop surprised when finishing the North American Sara McMann, which was number six in the rankings and reached the top-10. The “Phenomenon” is in ninth place and, curiously, follows behind its victim – McMann lost just one position and is in seventh place. Rachel Pennington, possible future opponent of the champion Amanda nunes, gained a position without even fighting – she overtook Ronda Rousey, and is now the fourth best rooster in the world.

Finally, confirmation of doping Jon Jones and the return of the light heavyweight belt to the hands of Daniel Cormier, in addition to changing the result of the duel between the two to a no contest, the UFC removed “Bones” from the rankings. Thus, DC was elevated to the status of champion, and all members of the top-15 “gained” a position, taking away Tyson Peter, which lost to Ilir Latifi at UFC 215 and lost one place.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
