McGregor screams in Mayweather's face after weigh-in

Conor guarantees that he 'will go over' Floyd, who says that the difference in size between the two will not be decisive

In the last face-off before the superfight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, the two fighters had tense moments during the event's official weigh-in. Both came in under the super-welterweight limit of 154 pounds (69,8 kg.), with the Irishman weighing in at 153 pounds (69,4 kg.) and the North American coming in at 149,5 pounds (67,8 kg. .).

But the highlight was the provocations, especially from McGregor. The UFC champion screamed in Mayweather's face that he was not physically ready to face him. Then, in the post-weigh-in interview, the “Notorious” explained his point of view further.

“My visual impression is that he has water in his body, he wanted to get bigger to face me and that will be his mistake. I'll go over him. Tomorrow (Saturday) I will weigh almost 8 kg. more than today and I will be much bigger than this guy. I’m going to go over him”, said McGregor, who was countered by Mayweather.

“Weight doesn’t win the fight. Fighting wins the fight. I've been here 49 times and won 49 times. Tomorrow (Saturday) I will emerge victorious again. His fans may be here booing me, but they don't get in the ring. Inside, it’s just me and him and I’m going to win” commented Mayweather.

The weights of the other fighters in the event were not revealed, as the official weigh-in event only featured the two athletes who will take part in the main fight of the night.
